Since 1936, Lucite has inspired generations of artists and designers
to create aircraft canopies, furniture, jewelry, objects d'art and paint.
Lucite's unique qualities also make it an ideal choice for bath design.
Versatile enough to help any dram take form, Lucite frees designers to
sculpt whatever they imagine. Warm to the touch, it is available in a
broad palette of colors and effects. Lucite is non-porous, and so retains
its shine. And it is exceptionally durable, resistant to stains and cracks,
and now available with Microban antimicrobial product protection. Unique
among bath materials, Lucite blurs the lines of form and function to
create the ultimate bath experience.
Designed in conjunction with Ineos Acrylics and Ann Sacks, Clodagh was asked
to participate in this year's experimental "Lucite Study into Bathroom
Design" featured by Material Connexion, the materials resource for designers
and architects. Four prominent designers, Alexandra Champalimaud, Ali Tayar,
Mathew Hoey and Clodagh were asked to "bathe in the possibilities of Lucite"
and develop the ultimate bath
